Anzac Day
Our first Anzac Day away was a little unexpected. A friend was about to go to South Africa with Habitat for Humanity and was having a fundraiser but decided to put a kiwi/aussie spin on it. We assembled in a central London pub. Munched on burger rings, jet planes, snifters and chatted with loads of kiwi lawyers (all wearing poppies). James had however outdone himself and we had a trumpeter, the last post and a minute’s silence. Not quite a dawn service but a great way to honour the Anzacs.
